The Greek professional tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas won the second-round match against French Adrian Mannarino in four sets and enters the third round of the US Open 2021.

So far so good for the Greek professional tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas as he reaches the third round of the US Open 2021 after a comfortable win against the French player named Adrian Mannarino. Tsitsipas won the second-round game in four sets in the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

After a big win in the first round of the US Open 2021, the Greek player continued that spirit in the second round as well. In all the four sets played in this second-round match, three of them were won by the World’s No. 3. (ATP rankings). 6-3 in the first and 6-4 in the second set helped him to dominate this game. Adrian Mannarino also tried to make a comeback by winning the third set by 7-6. But it was too late and too short for the French Man to turn this game on his side At last, in the fourth set, Stefanos didn’t even let Adrian take the single point and easily won the set by 6-0. The Greek star hit 27 aces in this match in comparison to Mannarino’s 6 which also proved to be one of the main reasons that the French man couldn’t advance himself to the third round.

However, the fans in the Arthur Ashe Stadium were not impressed with the Greek player as he took a long toilet break in this match as well. The fans booed Stefanos for leaving the court between the third and the fourth set for more than eight minutes. But he didn’t care and said he wanted a break to feel refreshed before playing the fourth set. The Greek International will now be seen playing against the Spanish player named Carlos Alcaraz Garcia in the third round match of the US Open 2021 which is to be played on Friday, 3rd September.
