
The Brazilian tennis professionals, Bruno Soares and Jamie Murray who are currently competing in the US Open 2021 in Men’s Doubles category have won their quarter-finals match against the Spanish Marcel Granollers and Argentine Horacio Zeballos by 2-1. This Victory has taken them to the semifinals of the US Open 2021 (Men’s Doubles). The game was very tight as both the tag teams hit 7-7 aces against each other. But Brazilian and the British’s second and third set win help them to advance in the tournament.
Bruno Soares and Jamie Murray have been clinical in this year’s US Open. They had their round of 16 games on Monday (IST) which they won with ease against the Finnish and German professionals. After the win in this round, on Wednesday (IST) they were scheduled to play their quarter-finals. The three-set games ended with a scoreline of 2-1, as Bruno and Murray clinching the victory even after getting defeated in the first set. Granollers of Spain and Zeballos of Argentina played very well and they were at the top of their game throughout the set. But, the tag team, however, could collect only 101 points as compared to Bruno and Murray’s 113.

With the same scoreline of 6-4 in the second and the third set, the Brazilian and the British professionals advance themselves to the semifinals of the US Open 2021. The Men’s doubles team now will be playing their next knockout match on 9th September, Thursday (IST).
