
Coco Gauff, American Tennis Player being ranked as the youngest Tennis player among the top 100 by the Women’s Tennis Association. Coco Gauff took her Instagram on 19th July to share the unwanted news to her fans that she has been tested positive for COVID-19 and won’t be able to take part in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
“I’m just happy that I didn’t have really many symptoms. I was pretty much asymptomatic,” was her words before the exhibition against Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka. She is still suffering from the loss of smell but rather she is fine as per the reports.
She claimed that due to her age the things were difficult as to grab the dose but she is also claiming that she will try to get the dose as soon as the tournament starts so that she could focus on her practice as the sport demand a completely healthy body. She made her debut in the French Open in June and became a Tennis Sensation for the teens in America.
She plans to get the second dose after the US Open which is scheduled to start from 30th August. She will be facing Jessica Pegula in the ongoing tournament in Washington on Saturday.
