Roger Federer praises Rafael Nadal for breaking records

Recently at the Australian Open tournament, Rafael Nadal won a record of 21st Grand Slam title, overtaking Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

Roger Federer speaks some kind and appreciating words for Rafael Nadal as he won the record of 21st Grand Slam title at the Australian Open 2022 the previous week.

Nadal, who was sidelined with injuries and missed majors after the French Open defeat bounced back at the 2022 tennis season with a trophy at the ATP CUP 2022 Summer Set tournament. The Spaniard, coming back from four months of foot injury also snatched a record of 21st Grand Slam title at the Australian Open 2022 overtaking Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

Federer has not played any match after his quarter-finals exit at the Wimbledon tournament while Djokovic was deported from Australia and was not allowed to play at the first Grand Slam of the year following his vaccination controversy that got his visa cancelled twice at the hosting country.

Fed-Djokovic both were quick to celebrate Nadal’s 21st and wished the Spaniard through their social media handles.

Federer understands that it’s is very hard for anyone to break any record and it makes him happy when someone does it. “That is not the problem. I’m the first guy to be happy for anybody who breaks any record because I know how hard it is to do,” said Swiss legend, reported New York Times tennis correspondent Christopher Clarey.
