Nick Kyrgios is captured once again destroying his racquet in anger and this time it is at the match against Jannik Sinner in Florida at the Miami Open 2022. It is the first encounter between Kyrgios and World No. 11 Sinner. The duo was scheduled to face each other at the BNP Paribas Open this year but the 20 year old Italian pulled off from the tournament following an illness.

This is not the first time fans are seeing unsportsmanlike conduct by Kyrgios. The tennis professional from Australia was caught in cameras smashing his racquet even during his loss against Rafael Nadal at the Indian Wells Masters this year. According to New York Times tennis correspondent Christopher Clarey, ATP confirmed that Nick Kyrgios was fined a total of $25,000 for the behaviour at the BNP Paribas Open loss against the Spaniard.

Meanwhile, the game between Sinner and Kyrgios ended in favour of the Italian who advanced to the quarterfinals of the Miami Open following a 7-6(3), 6-3 score. The 2021 runner awaits the winner of Tiafoe vs Cerunsolo.
