New ATP Top 10: Carlos Alcaraz with a huge move upwards

Alcaraz jumps three places ahead in the new released ATP rankings following his tremendous run in the 2022 tennis season.

Carlos Alcaraz is just too good at tennis. The player has been on every tennis page and is now a new favourite for the fans. The teenage sensational just turned 19 and thrashed three top-five ATP players within three days to clinch his fourth ATP Title at Mutua Madrid Open. Two of the opponents he outlasted back to back were from the Big Three.

Alcaraz yesterday, beat World No. Three Alexander Zverev of Germany won the ATP Masters 1000 trophy in the Spanish capital. The Spaniard before, before facing Zverev hammered 21-times Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal, for the first time before he eliminated Novak Djokovic the next days from the semifinals.

Carlos has been a huge threat to clay since his arrival. He is the only teenager to beat Nadal and Djokovic back to back on clay. Imagine beating the king of clay on his home soil! The emerging sensation made both of his opponents struggle before they said goodbye to the tournament in Madrid, Spain.
