Carlos Alcaraz is just too good at tennis. The newly turned 19-year-old teenager defeated Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in back to back matches. The Spanish emerging star is the only teenager to outlast Nadal on clay in Madrid Open and defeat Djokovic the next day in back to back matches.
The 21-times Grand Slam champion Nadal is now beaten twice this tennis season. One at the Indian Wells finals by Taylor Fritz and the other yesterday by Alcaraz. The 19-year-old from Spain was able to defeat No. four ranked Nadal for the first time in their three encounters while he managed to beat World No. 1 Djokovic in their first meet.
Alcaraz now awaits the winner between No. three ATP player Alexander Zverev and World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek and the German are scheduled to play at midnight, on May 8, at 12:30 am IST.
