The second day of the WTA Cincinnati Open is jam-packed with action and one of the most interesting includes including Serena Williams facing Emma Raducanu for the very first time and the other include Coco Gauff vs. Marie Bouzkova and Karolina Pliskova vs. Venus Williams.

Williams has stated her desire to start a business and have another child. The 23-time Grand Slam champion has not specified her final match, but she has hinted that it will be the year’s last Grand Slam namely U.S. Open, which starts on August 29 in New York. The legendary player in a cover story with Vogue Magazine announced her intention to retire.

On Wednesday night in Toronto, Williams fell to Belinda Bencic in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-4 in her first match at the Canadian Open soon after the announcement.

On the other hand, later this month, 19-year-old Raducanu will defend her US Open championship. The match, which was originally scheduled to take place on Monday, was postponed until Cincinnati’s night session on Tuesday due to rain.
