Daniil Medvedev one win away from retaking No. 1 ranking

Medvedev was crowned No. 1 following his tremendous form and Novak Djokovic’s quarterfinals exit from the Dubai Tennis Championships. The Russian needs to reach the semifinals in Florida to retake the top spot.

Daniil Medvedev is just one win away from re-taking his No. 1 spot on the ATP rankings. The Russian cane back from 5-3 down to defeat Jenson Brooksby with a score of 7-5, 6-1 at the Round of 16 of the Miami Open. Medvedev awaits the winner between Llyod Harris and defending champion Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
