Big change in ATP rankings as Rafael Nadal drops out of top 3 position

Rafael Nadal, the Spanish Tennis player has slipped out of the top 3 in ATP rankings, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas has replaced him at three.

Rafael Nadal was seen on fourth in ATP rankings released on Monday. Stefanos Tsitsipas replaced him in the third rank. Not only this, Jannik Sinner, an Italian teenager also made a huge jump in the rankings. He climbs up to 15th from the previous 24th.

Nadal was top 3 for a long time but now Stefanos took his place after pushing him to fourth. Rafael Nadal has won a record 20 Grand Slam singles titles & has also won 36 Master 1000 titles. Nadal won the French Open on his first attempt as a teenager in 2005 and went on to win 4 consecutive titles from 2005 to 2008.

The Washington tournament played over this weekend, did not go well for him as he lost to Lloyd Harris, the South African tennis player in the round of 16.
