
Arjun Tendulkar who is the son of legendary former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made his Mumbai senior team debut in Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy match Mumbai vs Haryana, in which Mumbai lost by 8 wickets. Mumbai choose to bat and made 143 runs. Arjun had a rough day with the ball as he returned with unremarkable figures of 1/134 in the three overs that he bowled.
Haryana opener Chaitya Bishnoi was cheaply dismissed by him after he edged a delivery to wicketkeeper Aditya Tare to claim his maiden wicket for the Mumbai senior team.
Arjun didn’t got a chance to face single delivery when Mumbai batted as a team and was bundled out in 19.3 overs. Arjun, the 21 year old cricketer who made his debut for the Mumbai team has got qualified for the IPL auctions.
Junior Tendulkar was added to Mumbai squad along with Krutik Hanagavadi, by the selection committee Salil Ankola- led, after the BCCI permitted a total number of 22 players to be selected.
Arjun also has been bowling with the Indian National Team in nets and he has also represented U-19 team back in Sri Lanka tour in 2018.
