Sports fraternity pays tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, Team India wears black armbands in her respect

Legendary icon, Lata Mangeshkar took her last breath at Candy hospital in Mumbai after being admitted for more than 28 days.

With her singing career that spanned almost eight decades, the greatest legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar the ar leaves behind a legacy of songs. With her leaving, not just Indian cinema or Bollywood, but the whole country has lost its icon.

Mangeshkar was admitted to Candy hospital of Mumbai’s Breach after she tested positive for COVID-19 on January 8. Being admitted to more than 28 days, her health became critical for the past two days and she passed away at the age of 92 following “multi-organ failure” said Dr Pratit Samdani.

Following the legendary singer’s passing, the whole nation is mourning in her memories and pays tribute. Sports fraternity joins to pay the last respect to the singer.
