Barcelona are out of the UEFA Champions League after they got stunned by the away side PSG in the second leg. Despite having a decent advantage of 3-2 over them in the first leg, Barcelona couldn’t capitalise on it and lost 4-1 in the second. The game started and Barca scored in just the 12th minute.
Barcelona gave away their lead in the second half after Araujo recieved a red card. Following the penalty awarded to PSG, manager Xavi also got a red card and he was out of the game for his unethical behaviour on the pitch. Xavi has blamed referee for this loss after the game as he said,”i told the referee that he was a disaster. It’s shame to be out of the champions league due to a referee’s mistake.”

The match was in hands of Catalan giants as they found the net in the 12th minute, expected to secure their place in the next round. However, the game turned against them when defender Araujo received a red card, diminishing Barcelona’s defensive strength.
The moment arrived when PSG was awarded a penalty, further adding to Barcelona’s woes. Barcelona’s manager, Xavi, was also shown a red card for his conduct on the touchline, leaving his team to battle on without his guidance.
