Despite having a decent advantage of 3-2 over them in the first leg, Barcelona couldn’t capitalise on it and lost 4-1 in the second. The game started and Barca scored in just the 12th minute.

Barcelona gave away their lead in the second half after Araujo recieved a red card. Following the penalty awarded to PSG, manager Xavi also got a red card and he was out of the game for his unethical behaviour on the pitch. Xavi has blamed referee for this loss after the game as he said,”i told the referee that he was a disaster. It’s shame to be out of the champions league due to a referee’s mistake.”
