
Wales national football team has won their second match in the World Cup qualifiers against Belarus at Central’nyj Stadion Kazan’ stadium. The thrilling game ended with a scoreline of 3-2, with Wales clinching the victory in the last minutes. Gareth Bale was the hero of the match as the captain led the team from the front and scored a hat-trick to help his team grab 3 points.
Wales got the penalty in the very starting minutes of the game, as Belarus goal-keeper named Syarhey Chernik did a blunder for which he was also shown a yellow card. Gareth Bale scored from the spot and gave the lead to Wales in the 5th minute. But, in the 29th minute, Vitali Lisakovich of Belarus equalized the score from the penalty spot. Within a minute, Belarus took the lead by 2-1 as Pavel Sedko scored a beautiful goal assisted by Belarus’ first goalscorer Lisakovich.

After leading at half-time, Belarus was looking a bit sloppy in the second half. Wales was dominating the possession and thus, making more goal attempts. There was no shortage of penalties in this game as Wales was been awarded another penalty. It was converted by the Captain again (Gareth Bale). Even after 90 minutes, the game was level by 2-2. But the scoreline didn’t remain the same after the final whistle as Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale scored the late winner in the additional minute to assure the victory and 3 points for Wales.
