The final game of the FIFA World Cup is going in Argentina’s way as they have scored their second goal as well. Argentina is dominating the defending champions (France’s national football team) in the first half. After Lionel Messi’s beautiful penalty goal, his club and country teammate Angel Di Maria doubled their lead.
Argentina went 2-0 up in the 36th minute with a beautiful team play goal. This was a perfect example of a counterattacking goal from Argentina. Rodrigo de Paul gave the ball to Lionel Messi who guides it to Julian Alvarez. Alvarez gave a beautiful through ball to McAllister and he assisted it to Angel di Maria who may have scored his last goal for Argentina in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Angel di Maria was seen crying after that goal. The winger got emotional after a sweet finish past Tottenham Hotspur’s goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. Argentina is in a good position in this game and France is finding it difficult to cope with Argentina’s pace for now.
