The most successful side in FA cup history, Arsenal, face Championship side Coventry United, a team which was close to liquidation in December. Defending champions Chelsea take on Birmingham City whom they beat 5-0 in the WSL earlier this season. The defending champs arrived into the quarters with style as they thrashed Leicester City 7-0.
Manchester City and Everton, the 2020 finalists, will face each other. Everton defeated Charlton 2-0 in the Round of 16 i.e. fifth round, while Manchester City crushed Manchester United 4-1. Chelsea vs Birmingham is also a replay of the finals, the two teams faced one another in the 2012 finals.
Ipswich, the lowest-ranked side at this stage, came through to the quarters after a thrilling win in the Round of 16 against Southampton. Sarah Quantrill, Ipswich’s keeper, produced two fine saves in the penalty shootout to help her team advance. In their maiden Quarterfinals, they will face 2019 finalists West Ham United.

The four ties will be played on the weekend of 19th and 20th March.
Out of the eight teams, five are previously crowned champions; Arsenal, Chelsea, Birmingham, Everton and Manchester City. Chelsea and Arsenal were last year’s finalists, which The Blues won 3-0 thanks to their duo Fran Kirby and Sam Kerr.
The round of 16 was a goal-packed one with Chelsea scoring 7 goals, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Coventry United each scoring 4 goals. We can expect a power-packed quarter-final as the teams are going to go all out.
