There have been rumours about Real Madrid in the desire to sign both, their long time interest Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland but in recent days, Barca seems to have more chances signing the Borussia Dortmund player.
As reported by football transfer expert and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barca’s boss doesn’t want to disclose anything when asked about rumours of him travelling to Munich to meet the Bundesliga striker. Xavi replied, “I can’t give you details….we work on the present and future of the club.”
The manager further stated that it will be “announced” at the right time just like they declared about Pablo Torre. Fabrizio Romano’s tweet stated that Xavi did not deny his travel to Munich and meet Haaland. He also said that he (Xavi) has not seen any player yet turn down the offer of playing at the club.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been eyeing the 21-year-old Norwegian forward but in recent times, the player seems to have closer contact with Barca more than any other club. Xavi also said, “no one is turning down barca,” and everyone is “excited” to play for the club which apparently means Haaland will soon be playing in Spain for their side.
