WestHam United, the Premier League club has rejected the first bid made by Arsenal for their star midfielder, Declan Rice. The bid, reported to be around €80 million with additional add-ons, whish reportedly fell short of West Ham’s valuation of the player, as the club is holding out for a fee exceeding €100 million.
Declan Rice has emerged as one of the brightest talents in English football in recent years. The English midfielder possesses of technical ability, composure on the ball, and tactical intelligence. His performances for both club and country have caught the attention of several top clubs, with Arsenal expressing a keen interest in acquiring his services.
However, negotiations between the two London clubs have started and it could end in a positive way. While Arsenal’s initial bid was a not enough. West Ham stands remains on their valuation of Rice, making him a key asset to their future ambitions. The Hammers are well aware of the midfielder’s importance to the team, and they are unwilling to let him leave without a significant return on their investment. It is now speculated that Arsenal may come back with an improved bid in the coming days to meet West Ham’s demands.
