Borussia Dortmund’s director, Lars Ricken, has firmly shut down any speculation regarding the transfer of Karim Adeyemi. In a recent statement to Ruhr Nachrichten, Ricken said, “We never opened a door. For us, that’s not an issue at all.”
Chelsea had shown interest in the versatile winger, but Adeyemi is focused on playing Champions League football. The 22-year-old standout performer in Dortmund’s recent Champions League final against Real Madrid wants to continue his journey with a top-tier club.
Despite rumors, Dortmund remains firm on their stance. They are preparing to bring in new talent, including Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart, while eyeing Lyon’s Rayan Cherki and Brighton’s Pascal Gross.
Adeyemi, who has a £35 million valuation, has attracted attention from clubs across Europe. However, his priority is to stay with a club competing in the elite club competition.
