
Manchester City unveiled the sculptures of their club legends, the world-class defender Vincent Kompany and midfielder David Silva before their Premier League game against Arsenal on Saturday. Defending champions City unveiled their legends statues as they planned to do it before the first game of the weekend.

The Spanish Midfielder David Silva who now plays for the La Liga side Real Sociedad was considered to be one of the best midfield of his time when he used to play for Manchester City. Vincent Kompany, another Manchester City legend has currently taken a manager job in one of the Belgian clubs named Anderlecht. Both played many games for Manchester City and were top-class players of that time. They won so many trophies together including Premier League, FA Cup, and the league cup which is popularly known as Carabao Cup.

The legendary Centre-back Vincent Kompany left the club (Man City) in the year 2019 after he won his fourth and the last Premier League title with the club. David Silva also left just after a year for the Spanish Club, Real Sociedad. The year he left, City finished second in the Premier League table as Liverpool Fc clinched the title from them.
Looking at their stats and titles win they deserve this honour which Manchester City has given to them by making statues of both the legends outside their home ground, Etihad. Manchester City is playing at home against Arsenal on Saturday’s early kick-off. The fans can view their legend’s sculptures outside the Etihad from Saturday.
