Usain Bolt & Yuvraj Singh react to Cristiano Ronaldo’s late winner against Villarreal

When all hope was lost, the wonder boy Ronaldo stepped up from an impossible angle to bury the ball at the back of the net in the Fergie time.

There’s no doubt about the fact that the Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo is a crowd-pleaser. Be it by breathtaking goals or animated celebrations, Ronaldo has had the art for as long as anyone could remember. With the help of his art of crowd-pleasing, he has often managed to awe the opposite team’s fan. A great example of it came in the match against Juventus in 2018’s UEFA Champion’s League quarter-final match in which Ronaldo scored an amazing goal by the means of an overhead kick. This wonderful finish was applauded by the crowd with a standing ovation.

Something similar happened on Tuesday night as Manchester United was hosting Villarreal for their second match in the Champions League. After a not-so-pleasing outing against Young Boys in their first game, Manchester United was hoping to make a comeback against their home crowd. The Villarreal team however spoiled their party in the 53rd minute when Paco Alcacer scored a goal.

7 minutes later Alex Telles scored a venomous volley from outside the box to level the scores. But this was not what the fans had come to see. They wanted their team to win the match, with the time running out, it felt almost impossible. When all hope was lost, the wonder boy Ronaldo stepped up from an impossible angle to bury the ball at the back of the net in the Fergie time.

This performance of Ronaldo was applauded by Usain Bolt who was on the ground enjoying the match. Along with that former Indian Allrounder also appreciated the late winner by Ronaldo, by the means of a tweet.
