The new deal was expected as the performance of the man was exceptional, especially the 2023/24 season. Under Emery’s leadership, Aston Villa achieved a remarkable top 4 finish in the Premier League points table, earning them spot in the most decorated league of football i.e. Champions League. This achievement marks a significant turnaround for the club, which had struggled in recent years to find consistent form.
