Manchester United have won their first leg of the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League 2022/23 season. It was a brilliant performance from all the players played in red shirt in this game after facing a huge loss against Liverpool on Sunday.
Manchester United had a disappointing weekend after they were destroyed by Liverpool’s troops in the English Premier League. Liverpool scored 7 against Manchester United and the manager Erik ten Hag wasn’t happy at all seeing that performance from their players. However the United players bounced back well from that defeat in their next fixture.
Manchester United scored four goals and all by different scorers. Marcus Rashford started off with a brilliant strike which was his 26th of the season in all competitions. Antony made it 2-1 in the second half before Bruno Fernandes’ header got past Claudio Bravo’s gloves from corner.
Wout Weghorst also scored which was his second in United’s shirt and first in Old Trafford. However the striker is yet to score in the English Premier League this season.
