The round of 16 tie of UEFA Europa League has been completed and now there are 8 teams remaining who will face each other for the coveted trophy. UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League are on its final stages and can be said in it’s crucial stages as the teams present in the competition are top players.
Last night, the round of 16 tie was ended and there are top teams who made it to the last 8 spot and other 8 teams had no other option but to move out from the competition. The 8 teams that have qualified for the quarter-finals include Liverpool, Benfica, West Ham, As Roma, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, Marseille, and Atalanta.
All these 8 teams are in great run of form and it is very difficult to pick a clear winner among these. The intense competition is awaited as the clubs will be faxing each other in the quarter-finals soon.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool defeated Sparta Praha by 11-2 in aggregate which was the biggest win in the round this year. Bayer Leverkusen had a comeback win over Qarabag FK and AC Milan beat Slavia Praha by 7-3 (aggregate) in the round of 16.
Fans would be hoping to see some intense thrilling clashes in the next round of the Europa League and looking at the qualified teams, it seems they won’t be disappointed.
