Slovakia win 1-0 against Belgium in their first game of the UEFA Euro 2024. The prestigious European competition has started and it was the first one for both of these teams. Belgium couldn’t score a single goal in the game and Slovakia’s early minutes lead was enough for them to make a historic win. Slovakia’s Schranz scored the goal in the 7th minute which was the only one in the entire game.
The UEFA Euro 2024 tournament kicked off and a thrilling match between Slovakia and Belgium, marked an amazing game for the White jerseys in this competition. In a surprising turn of events, Slovakia secured a historic 1-0 victory over the higher-ranked Belgian team.
The decisive moment came early in the match when Slovakia’s Ivan Schranz found the back of the net in the 7th minute. Capitalizing on a defensive lapse by Belgium, Schranz’s precise shot gave Slovakia an early lead, which they managed to defend extensively well for the rest of the game.
Despite Belgium’s relentless attacks and attempts to equalize, they were unable to breach Slovakia’s defense. Slovakian goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka played a pivotal role, making several crucial saves to keep his team ahead.
