After Spain v Germany, another amazing game has been linedup in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-finals stages i.e. Portugal v France. Both these teams are also favourites to win the trophy. Portugal who have cleared the group stages easily will now be looking to do the same to secure the spot in the Semifinals. France on the other hand also in amazing run of form. With their 1-0 win over Belgium in the round of 16 stage, France have managed to come into the quarters. Portugal too had a difficult round of 16 as they faced Slovenia and won in the penalties.
Portugal advanced to the knockout stages with relative ease, showcasing their strength and depth in the group phase. However, their Round of 16 match against Slovenia was a nail-biter, ending in a penalty shootout that saw Portugal emerge victorious. This hard-fought win has steeled them for the challenges ahead as they aim to secure a spot in the semifinals.
France, on the other hand, has been in superb form throughout the tournament. Their 1-0 victory over Belgium in the Round of 16 highlighted their defensive solidity and tactical knowledge.
