
The Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League has been completed and 8 teams have successfully qualified for the next round i.e. quarter-finals. So here on, the competition becomes more and more interesting and tough for the clubs.
The 8 clubs who have been qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League 2023-24 are as follows: – Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich.
It is very difficult to choose favourites between these 8 teams as all the clubs are top and have the history of winning titles. Now, the fans are waiting for the quarter-finals draw as it will be very interesting to see who faces whom.
Barcelona defeated Napoli in the round of 16 to qualify whereas their rivals Real Madrid knocked out RB Leipzig. Manchester City wit a win over Copenhagen and Dortmund defeated PSV Eindhoven to qualify for the last 8. Arsenal and Bayern Munich made it to this stage following a massive victory over Porto and Lazio respectively.
Atletico Madrid won against last season’s finalist Inter Milan in the round of 16 last night to join all 7 these teams at this stage. Defending champions Manchester City will be hoping to get the trophy again and looking at their performance, it still looks possible.
Real Madrid on the other hand are amazing even in La Liga after the introduction of their newly signed midfielder Jude Bellingham.
