La Liga side Real Madrid has beaten Liverpool FC again in the second leg as well to qualify for the next round of the UEFA Champions League (2022/23 season). It has been a brilliant journey so far for Real Madrid in the Champions League this year despite having some setbacks in the Spanish league named La Liga.
Liverpool FC got beaten by Real Madrid in the first leg by 5-2 and then 1-0 in the second leg. It was a disastrous performance from Liverpool again after getting defeated by Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp’s bad season continues as they are now out of the Champions League race as well.
French striker Karim Benzema was the only one to score in the game on Wednesday night, 15th March. The goal came in the 78th minute which gave the victory and the qualification to Real Madrid.
