Monaco were ahead of them since the start as they only scored the first goal which came in the 16th minute. Lamine Yamal did score the equaliser within 15 minutes but that didn’t work out for the La Liga club. Barcelona were playing with 10-men as their defender Eric Garcia recieved red card in the 10th minute.

Barcelona began their season on a sour note, suffering a defeat to AS Monaco in a match that left fans disheartened. The La Liga giants found themselves on the back foot early, as Monaco struck first, establishing a lead that would prove difficult to overcome.

Despite a brief glimmer of hope when young talent Lamine Yamal netted an equalizer just 15 minutes later, Barcelona’s fortunes quickly soured again. The match took a decisive turn in the 10th minute when defender Eric Garcia received a red card, leaving the team with just ten players for the remainder of the game.
