
It has been announced that Tottenham director Fabio Paratici will step down from his position as managing director of the football department pending the outcome of his appeal against a worldwide ban. It was announced today that Fabio Paratici would take a “short leave of absence” until his appeal against the 2.5-year banning of him from international football takes place on April 19 2023.

A 30-month ban was imposed on Paratici in January following false accounting allegations by his former club Juventus. This resulted in his suspension from Italian football for some time. Before joining Tottenham in June 2021, the 50-year-old Italian served as Juventus’ sporting director and managing director.
