Today’s match against Leeds Unites saw the Spurs not only move up to the seventh position on the table but also break the record of most goal combinations previously held by the Chelsea greats, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son now have a total record of 37 goal partnerships in the English Premier League and broke the record in their match against Leeds United by beating them 4-0. Doherty converted Sessegnon’s cross before Kulusevski and Kane & Son added to the lead for the Spurs. Elland road witnessed Son becoming the 13th ever player to score 10+ goals in six consecutive seasons in the Premier League.

“It would have been nice to keep the momentum going”, Harry Kane told BT, “after their victory against City. But after the disappointing result against Burnley, we had to bounce back today”

Suprs’ coach, Antonio Conte said that the squad was one of the best group of players he had worked with in his post-match interview following his victory against Manchester City. But Conte admitted his doubts over his stay at the club as he took up defeat against Burnley, questioning if he was the right man for the job. Conte is now fully committed to staying back and helping the Spurs.

Tottenham’s dream of Champions League football isn’t dead yet but Marcelo Bielsa in an interview with BT said that the results show the clear dominance of the Spurs over the match who added to his fear about relegation from the League if Leeds was not to perform up to expectation.
