On Saturday, a superb last-minute goal by Leandro Trossard gave Brighton a gusty win over Tottenham Hotspur at Hotspur Stadium. That dealt a blow to hopes of Tottenham of finishing in the top four.

Spurs struggled in the first half to get into the game. Brighton keeps on with their high pressure on the home side, which forces them to play deep inside their half with frustration. Brighton had the best chance of the half, as when in the 23rd minute of the game Enock Mwepu strike a half volley from outside of the box. But unfortunately, his shot was deflected behind by Ben Davies a defender of Spurs.

Spurs were improved after the halftime and two early chances fell to South Korea’s Son Heung Min but his efforts were covered well by the defence of Brighton. Tottenham boss Conte looked visibly frustrated enough on the sideline as the spurs missed. However, the mistakes made by the home side allowed Brighton to make a come back into the game. And they find a last-minute winner at the 89th minute of the game.

The result means Antonio Conte’s side remains in the 4th spot in the table of the Premier League. They are four points ahead of Arsenal who is in fifth.
