Toni Kroos invites Roger Federer for a visit at Real Madrid

The German suggests Federer to ask Rafael Nadal for any doubts.

Roger Federer has gotten an invitation for a visit to Real Madrid by Toni Kroos. The player also suggested the Swiss have some tips from his rival and friend Rafael Nadal in case of doubts.

The 20-times Grand Slam champion Federer recently announced his retirement from the sport and played his last match as a professional tennis player last week at the Laver Cup. The Swiss Maestro was pairing with Rafael Nadal representing Team Europe against Team World duo Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock. The famous duo known as “Fedal” lost the match, but it was not just about winning or losing.

Meanwhile, his last match went emotional for him as well as for many others. Several celebrities from the sports fraternity and outside wished him luck for his retirement. One of the players, Toni Kroos of Real Madrid continued to share his feelings about the retirement news since the Swiss announced it. He posted his feelings on his official Instagram account.

The German also Tweeted about Federer’s last match ahead of the doubles fixture at Laver Cup Day 1.

In a video shared by ATP Tour on Twitter, Kroos is seen requesting Federer to visit Spain and watch him play. He also told him to have some tips from doubles partner Rafa if any “doubt”. ” He knows how good it is,” said Kroos in the video. He further said, “Hope to see you soon Roger”.

Nadal has been very close to Real Madrid and has visited the Santiano Bernabeu several times. He was there at the Champions League final against Liverpool which was held in Paris where Madrid clinched their 14th UCL title, ahead of Nadal winning his 14th Roland Garros title in the same city that never sleeps. He was also there and took the honorary kick-off at the La Liga game between the Los Blancos and Espanyol where the Whites won their 35th League title.
