Former Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, on Tuesday, 3rd April 2018 scored an incredible acrobatic bicycle kick which drove fans to stand on their feet. The goal was scored in the 64th minute of the quarter-final first leg in Turin versus Juventus.

This goal was awarded for the best goal of the UEFA season by receiving 1,97,496 votes from fans and viewers all around the world.

 

Ronaldo connected to Dani Carvajal’s cross by leaping into the air to score an excellent bicycle kick into the top right corner. The Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon stood stunned as the ball went by.

Ronaldo jumped to a height of 7.5ft to score this impressive and astonishing flying overhead kick goal. This goal led Madrid ahead of 2-0 against Juventus and won the match by 3-0 after an assisted goal by Ronaldo to Marcelo Vieira.

Even LeBron James couldn’t resist reacting to this spectacular goal.

Ronaldo has scored 41 goals for Real Madrid in the season of 17-18 and overall 101 goals in just three seasons for Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo then became the first player in the world to score in 10 consecutive Champions League games.

Ronaldo’s words on fans applauding him: “This was one of the nicest moments,” he said. “To be applauded by the Juventus stadium, where so many great footballers have played, is a top moment for me.

“It’s something that stays in your heart…I want to thank all the Italians who were here in the stadium and applauded me.”

Former Real Madrid successful coach Zinedine Zidane’s reaction went viral on social media. Zidane’s comments on this bizarre goal of Cristiano Ronaldo: “Cristiano’s is one of the best goals in history, but mine in Glasgow was prettier. You have to tip your hat to a goal of this quality. He does so many things and I’m happy for what he’s achieved.”
