Thomas Tuchel snaps back at press questions regarding war

Chelsea boss demands halt to questions regarding the crisis in Ukraine over emotional response.

Tuchel has appeared to clap back at journalists asking him questions regarding war and his opinion about the ownership issues. He has responded by saying, ” You have to stop asking me these questions. I feel bad because I am very privileged, I sit here in peace. I do the best I can and you have to stop asking me these questions because I have no answers for you”.

He has demanded a halt to such questions from the reporters regarding the issue as he is not a ‘politician’ and has no answers to them. He was taking questions ahead of the FA Cup in an interview but was put down by the questions regarding war and about Abramovich.

His reaction is a reflection of his patience put to test regarding the sanctions faced by the club’s ownership and management. As the English club is owned by the Russian oligarch and billionaire since 2003, the 50-year-old was found to be having close ties with Putin and his regime, because of which the ownership and residence of Abramovich have come under a lot of scrutinies in the past few days.

The stewardship has been passed on to the trustees of the club’s charitable foundation and Abramovich has put out an official statement stating the reasons behind his decision to pass it over as it is in the best interest of the club, staff and players. Tuchel has admitted that both the players in the squad and himself have been clouded by the sanctions faced and that regardless of it, the club stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
