According to a recent report by Times Sport, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly eyeing the Real Madrid job as his next potential destination. The German coach, who is currently a free agent, has had a successful stint with the London club (Chelsea FC) earlier having led them to the Champions League title in his first season in charge.
Tuchel has gained a reputation as one of the most tactically astute coaches in the game, and his track record with Chelsea and previous club Paris Saint-Germain has made him a highly sought-after figure in European football. Real Madrid, one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, is currently managed by Carlo Ancelotti, but there have been reports suggesting that he could be on his way out at the end of the season.
If Tuchel were to take over at Real Madrid, he would be inheriting a team with a rich history and a squad full of talent. The likes of Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos are all world-class players who would thrive under Tuchel’s guidance. However, there would also be pressure on the German coach to deliver results from the get-go, given the high expectations that come with managing a club like Real Madrid.
