Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea have parted ways after just one-year of management. Chelsea didn’t enjoy the tenure of Pochettino despite he made them finish on 6th positron from 10th. After this, the speculations are being made on who will be the next manager of Chelsea. These three candidates could replace him.
1. Vincent Kompany: He is one of the names. The former Manchester City captain has impressed as the manager of Burnley, showing his leadership and tactics. His success in making Burnley a force and securing their promotion to the Premier League makes him a strong contender for the Chelsea job.
2. Thomas Frank: Another potential candidate is Thomas Frank, who has done remarkable work with Brentford. Frank has been praised for his approach and ability to maximize his team’s potential, leading Brentford to establish themselves as a solid mid-table Premier League side.
3. Sebastian Hoenß: He is also in the mix. Currently managing Stuttgart, Hoenß has his capability in the Bundesliga, however the manager has already said no to Bayern Munich who are also searching for new managers. So, this candidate’s appointment looks difficult as of now.
Additionally, Kieran McKenna, the Ipswich Town manager, is under consideration as well.
