Manchester United is in the headlines since the owner i.e. Glazers have announced that they want to sell the club. Manchester United fans wanted this to happen for a long time and now it seems the end of the Glazers’ ownership is near.
Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag was also asked about this situation in an interview with Andy Mitten. The Athletic’s writer and reporter Andy Mitten asked Erik about this and the managed gave his verdict on Manchester United taking over the news.
Erik ten Hag is happy to see that the takeover of Manchester United is possible as he wants some more players in the coming transfer window to make the team reach where they were some years back. Erik ten Hag wants to see Man United on top for which he needs some transfers.
Earlier, it was reported that due to the loss of the owners, Glazers won’t be able to fund transfers in the coming window. But after the take over it will be possible for United to buy players in the January and summer transfer window.
“I’m told it will only be good things, there will be more investment possible and so it’s good news,” said Erik ten Hag to The Athletic & Andy Mitten.
