Sunil Chettri keeps his impressive form by scoring again for team India as he had already scored 2 goals in their first game of the Qualifiers campaign against Cambodia.
The game was goalless till the 85th minute as a stunning freekick from Sunil Chhetri gives India the lead of the game with only 10 minutes remaining in regulation time. The scores get level when Afghanistan’s Zubayr Amiri equalises at the 88th minute and the score becomes 1-1. But in the dying moments of the game during the injury time, Sahal Abdul Samad nets a fantastic goal to secure the 2nd win of the campaign for India in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. India sits at 2nd place with 6 points in Group D of the Qualifiers. Hong Kong also has 6 points as they also have won both of their matches but are up on 1 goal difference.
