“I am very excited to start my journey with Hyderabad FC. I promise to give my best and help the club grow with my experience and my work,” Garcia said after he signed the one-year agreement with the ISL side.
“I want HFC to finish as high as possible on the table, and will work hard for that. I will also always try to help the team by giving what the coach wants from me,” the Spaniard added. Garcia was born in Zara, Spain and he spent three seasons at the B side of Real Zaragoza and then he went to the Spanish Segunda Divison and represented them for the 2016-17 season.
He started in India for the first time in 2017 with Bengaluru FC and made 14 appearances in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) and then joined Zhejiang Greentown. The Chinese side paid a transfer fee to ensure the Spanish player’s signing. Garcia returned to India in January 2018 when he joined ATK Mohun Bagan FC and boosted the club to the Hero ISL title in 2019-20 by netting against Chennaiyin FC in the final.
