Sam Mather signs new long-term Man United contract, Fabrizio Romano confirms

Manchester United winger Samuel Mather has agreed to a new long-term contract with the club. The deal, which will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2027 with an option for an additional year, reflects United’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

Mather’s new contract comes amid an exciting period for United’s youth academy. The U18s enjoyed a successful season, winning three trophies and showcasing their talent in pre-season fixtures. Mather, though yet to make a significant first-team impact, has been recognized for his potential with this substantial endorsement.

However, Mather’s case is slightly different since he has received a long-term contract from the club, one which ties him to United till 2027, with an option for another year, as Fabrizio Romano reports –
