Roy Keane feels Spurs do not have enough to win the Premier League this season

Sky Sports Pundit and ex-Manchester United player Roy Keane explained why he feels Tottenham Hotspur are not title contenders despite their solid start to the season.

Ever since Tottenham’s brilliant start to the season, there is a belief that Jose Mourinho can pull something off that no manager has ever done, bring a Premier League title to the North London club. Spurs are currently 1st in the league with 21 points.

Contrary to what the masses have been saying, Sky Sports Pundit Roy Keane still thinks Tottenham are not quite there yet albeit he still feels they are a good team.

After Tottenham’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last night, Keane said, “He’s done it before. His CV is fantastic. But I don’t think these players he has at Spurs are good enough to win the title. They have the X-factor in Mourinho and Harry Kane, I don’t think that’s enough. They were hanging on at the end at Stamford Bridge.

“I think they are on for a very good season, but a very good season is a big difference to trying to win the league title. I don’t think so. Manchester City are stronger than Spurs.”

He also mentioned, “Spurs have had some really good results, but they have still had the odd blip here and there, against Newcastle and West Ham.”
