Portugal defeated Liechtenstein by 4-0 in their first game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. It was the game which Portugal fans would have enjoyed as one of their star striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in it. Not just two goals but the Portuguese forward broke records in this match.
Portugal scored 4 without a reply and it was an amazing game for the visitors. In this game, Ronaldo became the most-capped player in men’s international football history. Another milestone which he reached in this game was huge as he scored in his 20th consecutive year for Portugal.
Since he scored his first international goal for Portugal in 2004, he has scored in every calendar year till now. Two goals from him sees an easy victory for the visitors against Liechtenstein.
