Rifle over Manchester United’s captaincy ruled out by coach Ralf Rangnick

Coach Ralf Rangnick puts the captaincy rumours to rest and has set his vision on the performance of the club on the upcoming match against Leeds.

A potential rift between the Manchester squad members have been blooming around the Trafford and it was only time that coach Rangnick stepped up to clear them. The rumours suffice the lack of unity amongst the squad in the recent performances as the Reds barely made it up against Brighton going 2-0. But comments from Cristiano Ronaldo regarding the mentality of certain youngsters were put into the spotlight where they showed to be lacking the team spirit and self-improvement practices to be worn by an elite footballer.

Following these comments were the rumours surrounding the captaincy position at the club where the selection of Maguire over Ronaldo caused a bit of a stir. Rangnick was quick to shut down the rumours not just regarding the captaincy but also about the dressing room attitude and overall team performance and coordination as in the light of recent events, the club has not quite had the good look.
