Real Madrid win record-extending 35th La Liga title defeating Espanyol

Tennis legend Rafael Nadal and emerging star Carlos Alcaraz were also present at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid has won the record-extending 35th La Liga title defeating Espanyol with a score of 4-0 in presence of tennis stars Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz at the Santiago Bernabeu. Rodrigo scored twice while Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema netted 1-1 goals to power their side to the title.

The Whites just needed one match point to ensure the league title in their favour. 21-times Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal and Spanish emerging star Carlos Alcaraz were also there at Los Blanco’s home stadium to watch the title winning the game.  King of Clay Nadal even took the honorary to kick off the first ball. The two Spaniards were in Madrid, Spain to play their upcoming matches scheduled for May 3rd at the ATP Mutua Madrid Open 2022.
