La Liga champions Real Madrid hammered Levante with a score of 6-0 where, Ferland Mendy, Karim Benzema, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr’s first hat trick powered the Whites beat the opponents with six goals and a clean sheet.
Real Madrid already won a record-extending 35th La Liga title, defeating Espanyol 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu in front of tennis aces Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz. Rodrigo scored twice, while Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema both contributed with one each to help the Los Blancos towards their 35th.
The Whites only needed one match point to secure the league title. Rafael Nadal, a 21-time Grand Slam champion, and Carlos Alcaraz, a Spanish rising star, were both present at Los Blancos’ home stadium to witness the title-winning game. Nadal, the King of Clay, even had the distinction of kicking off the game.
The 13-times European champions are scheduled to play against Liverpool in the battle for the Champions League title on May 28, 12:30 pm IST.
