Ronaldo, who is arguably Real Madrid’s greatest ever player, has been the subject of many transfer rumours this season. There was news linking him with PSG a few days back, and it was connected to Kylian Mbappe leaving for Real Madrid. Now, Edu Aguirre recently came on El Chiringuito de Jugones and said that Ancelotti is pursuing Ronaldo to be part of Madrid. This piece of news looked credible as Ronaldo and his camp are pretty close to Aguirre and the journalist may have got the news from them but after Ancelotti had denied this, there have been questions about what the player’s camp is putting out in the public. There can only be one answer to this coming out: Ronaldo and his camp are desperately looking to get out of Juventus this season and have been putting out news about his talks with various clubs, which now include Manchester City too. This is very much linked to Ronaldo’s disenchantment with Juventus.

The news of his disenchantment with the current club Juventus has been present since last year. The disenchantment may stem out from many issues, the main being lack of relative success with the premier Italian club. They bought him in 2018 but haven’t been able to win the Champions League which was probably the reason they bought the forward to the club.

Ancelotti, a 3-time Champions League winning manager with AC Milan and Real Madrid wants his second tenure with the Spanish club to go as well as his first time. Hence, buying Ronaldo may be a good strategy. The forward did score 51 goals in all competitions when Ancelotti was there. They won the Champions League that season. But will he move? Juventus still want to keep him this year but the Ronaldo issue is far from over and we will see many more developments in these coming weeks.
