The defending champions of the La Liga and UEFA Champions League have a chance to win the club World Cup after they won their knock out game against Al Ahly on Wednesday night, 8th February. Real Madrid scored 4 past Al Ahly and also conceded one which didn’t matter to them.
Real Madrid’s winger Vinicius Junior scored the first goal of the game which came in the 42nd minute and this was the only goal scored in the first half. Midfielder Fede Valverde also named himself in the scoresheet just after the second half started. It was a perfect goal and perfect time to register 2 goals on the board. Al Ahly did pull one back in the 65th minute from the penalty spot but Rodrygo’s and Arribas’ late goal cut that out and they won the game.
It was a deserved 4-1 victory for Real Madrid and now the champion side will be seen in the Club World Cup finals.
