Bundesliga mid-week games are on as their league restarted a bit late after the FIFA World Cup 2022. The Bundesliga players got some days rest after World Cup and just to compensate that they are playing games in the mid-week as well. RB Leipzig was against Schalke on Tuesday night and it was raining goals in Veltins-Arena (FC Schalke 04’s home stadium).
It was a bad night for the home side as they lost by 6 goals to 1 on Tuesday night. Andre Silva was the one who started the goal story for RB Leipzig in the 7th minute. Andre Silva scored two goals, the other one came in the 44th minute. After Andre Silva’s second goal, it was former Chelsea’s striker named Timo Werner who scored his first goal just before the half-time’s whistle.
Schalke did pull one back in the 56th minute but it didn’t matter as in the later half, Poulsen and Olmo scored the 5th and 6th goal for RB Leipzig.
