Lionel Messi did a press conference on Sunday where he was full of tears and now he was again at a press conference but this time as a Paris Saint-Germain new player. There are smiles everywhere in Paris after Messi’s arrival. Even, Messi seems very happy since he landed in Paris on Tuesday. As soon as, the news of Lionel Messi leaving Barcelona was out, it was Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain who reacted very quickly as they wanted the player in any case.
The deal was struck rapidly by PSG and they always seemed favourites to sign the Argentine. PSG conducted a Press conference on Wednesday, where Messi along with the President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi were asked questions by many journalists. It was the president who started the conference with some delightful words.
“I’m very proud and very happy to present Lionel Messi as a PSG player. It’s a very historic moment for us. Everyone knows Leo. He makes football magic and he’s a winner. The only player to win six times the BallonD’or,” Al-Khelaifi said at the PSG press conference.

The president also praised him, his father Jorge and his wife. He also said how much PSG fans are excited to see Messi. Messi spoke a few words as well in the conference. He praised PSG and said this club is ready to fight for every trophy they play.
“Everyone knows how hard it was to leave Barcelona. I am absolutely loving my time in Paris so far. I am very grateful that such complicated negotiations were made so easy. Truly, I feel this club is ready to fight for every title.” Messi said in the conference.

Messi has been given a no.30 shirt in Paris Saint-Germain and it seems the Argentine is looking forward to winning trophies with his new club.
